SHAH ALAM: Selangor's hopes of a winning start in the Malaysian Super League were dashed after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Felda United.

Grenadian striker Antonio German put the Red Giants ahead in the 40th minute but the Fighters' skipper Mohd Hadin Azman equalised in the 69th minute, which led to the points being shared at the Shah Alam Stadium.
