Christie's brace steers Malaysia to first victory of the year

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia finally recorded their first win in football this year – a 3-1 victory over Laos in a friendly international.

Interim coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee’s team strolled to victory at the Thai Army Stadium in Bangkok in Thursday, thanks to a brace by winger Christie Jayaseelan in the 50th and 90th minutes.
