LONDON (Reuters) - England midfielder Jack Rodwell has warned local talents against succumbing to the glamour of his former employers Manchester City and advised them to instead sign for a club where they would get sufficient playing time.

The 23-year-old joined Sunderland on Tuesday on a five-year deal after limited first team opportunities in his two-year stint at the Premier League champions.
