PETALING JAYA: SMK Mutiara Impian of Penang came up tops in the Minister of Education League Cup (MELC) Under-14 final when they defeated favourites Pahang Sports School (PSS) 6-5 in a penalty shootout after both teams were tied 3-3 in extra-time at the Mini Stadium in Gambang on Saturday.
Mohd Hadi Fayyadh scored a hat-trick for PSS in the 10th, 72nd and 81st minutes while SMK Mutiara Impian got their goals through Mohd Husnul Isral (67th, 87th) and Mohd Azmeer Ariff (78th).
