Milomir returns to M-League

PETALING JAYA: Bosnian Milomir Seslija has returned to the M-League – as coach of Premier League side Sabah.

The 48-year-old former Sabah defender helped the Rhinos lift the FA Cup in 1995 and the League Cup in 1996.

In 1997, Milomir was forced to part ways with the team when the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) banned foreign players.

He spent three seasons with Sembawang Rangers in the Singapore League (1998-2000) before switching to coaching.

“I’m glad to be back here after 17 years,” said Milomir, who signed a one-year contract with the Sabah FA on Monday.
