SEA Games: Tze Liang clinches third gold for Malaysia in diving


PETALING JAYA: Ooi Tze Liang clinched Malaysia's third gold medal in diving at the Hanoi SEA Games after winning the men's 1m springboard individual final.

It is the second gold medal for the Penang-born diver who partnered Chew Yiwei to win the men's 3m springboard synchro event on Sunday (May 8).

Tze Liang finished with 377.70 points in the six-dive competition on Monday (May 9).

Wendy Ng Yan Yee-Ong Ker Ying can possibly hand Malaysia their fourth gold at the Hanoi Games when they dive in the women's 3m springboard synchro final later.
