No U-turn for Beasley

Decision still stands: John Beasley holding Azizulhasni Awang’s bicycle during the Malaysian cyclist’s final Asian Games appearance in the men’s keirin on Friday.

AZIZULHASNI Awang’s keirin gold medal triumph will not change his long-serving coach John Beasley’s decision to leave the Malaysian cycling set-up.

The technical director Beasley is heading to Japan to take up a new coaching role with their national track squad leading up to 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
