Para rider Yusof bags silver at world meet in Rio


PETALING JAYA: Asian champion Mohd Yusof Hafizi Shaharuddin rose to the occasion to deliver a fine silver for Malaysia in the Para Cycling Track World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday (Oct 16).

The Perak-born Yusof clocked 1:15.432s in the final of the men's C1 1km time trial event to secure Malaysia's first medal in the world meet.
