PETALING JAYA: Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) president Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill has been elected vice president of the International Cycling Union (UCI).

Amarjit, who is also the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) president, became the first Malaysian to hold that position in the world governing body after its 194th Congress was held in Kigali, Rwanda, on Thursday (Sept 25).
