PETALING JAYA: With just under 80 days to go before the Track Cycling World Champion­ships in Santiago, Chile, on Oct 22, the national camp are facing anxious times as top sprinter Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom is still struggling with injury.

Shah Firdaus is currently experiencing discomfort in his right knee, a recurring issue from the injury he picked up during the Asian Championships in Nilai in February.
