Glorious ride: Ex-speed skater turned cyclist Lau New Joe savouring his success in the National Championships in Johor yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: It has been three years since Lau New Joe first saddled up for a velodrome tryout and he is now a national track cycling champion.

Not once but twice as the former speed skater New Joe claimed two gold medals for Kuala Lumpur at the National Championships in Johor yesterday.
