Malaysian trio fail to make it through the qualifier in team sprint event


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia may find it hard to earn qualification in the team sprint event at the World Championships in Santiago, Chile in October after a slow start to their campaign in the Track Nations Cup in Konya, Turkiye.

The men’s trio comprising newcomer Mohd Akmal Nazimi Jusena, Mohd Ridwan Sahrom and Mohd Fadhil Zonis only managed to finish 10th out of 16 teams in the team sprint qualifying round.
