NILAI: Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri showed she is the real deal in track cycling with explosive performances in the elite ranks of the Asian Championships, which ended at the National Velodrome in Nilai yesterday.

The 20-year-old Izzah provided the best indication as to whether she is able to be a serious challenger at the Asian Games in Japan and Commonwealth Games in Scotland next year by matching her haul of two gold, one silver and one bronze medals from last year’s edition in New Delhi, India.
