Race to recover in time leaves Shah Firdaus with dilemma in Asian Championships

PETALING JAYA: National cyclist Mohd Shah Firdaus Sahrom faces a tight race to recover from a training injury to lead Malaysia’s challenge in the Asian Track Cycling Championships at the National Velodrome in Nilai from Feb 21-27.

The Paris Olympian picked up a knee injury in training recently and now faces the dilemma of whether to go for both the men’s elite sprint and keirin events at the Asian meet.
