Riders sprint to three medals on first day at the velodrome

On fire: Mohd Khairul Hazwan and pilot Mohd Khairul Adha Rasol delivered a silver in the men’s (B) 4km individual pursuit final.

PARA cyclists did not wait long to bring cheers to the Malaysian contingent in Hangzhou as they got off to a cracking start on the opening day by winning two silvers and one bronze in the Asian Para Games.

It started with the awesome trio of Zuhairie Ahmad Tarmizi, Mohd Yusof Hafizi Shaharuddin and Mohd Hafiz Jamali who rode their way to silver in the mixed team sprint C1-C3 event at the Chun’an Jieshou Sports Centre Velodrome yesterday.
