Dr Jeffrey: Azizul can compete again with proper rehabilitation

PETALING JAYA: It’s not easy for an athlete like national track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang to return to top level competition after going for an open heart surgery.

But it is possible for an elite athlete to resume an active competitive career with the right recovery process, says National Heart Institute (IJN) senior consultant cardiothoracic surgeon Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Jeswant Dillon.
