Cricket-Australia bowled out for 210, lead by 146 runs in second test v Bangladesh


Aug 23 (Reuters) - Australia ⁠were bowled out for 210 ⁠before lunch on day two of ‌the second test against Bangladesh in Mackay on Sunday, taking a 146-run lead.

• Australia resumed ​on 165 for eight ⁠in the morning ⁠in reply to Bangladesh's first innings 64 ⁠at ‌Great Barrier Reef Arena.

• Recalled paceman Shoriful Islam took ⁠a seventh wicket for the innings after ​dismissing ‌Cameron Green lbw for 67 with ⁠an in-swinging ​yorker. Shoriful finished with 7-48, the best innings haul for a Bangladesh ⁠bowler in an away test.

• ​Tailenders Nathan Lyon (32 not out) and Josh Hazlewood frustrated Bangladesh with a 24-run ⁠partnership for the 10th wicket before Hazlewood was caught for six by Shadman Islam, after top-edging an attempted ​slog-sweep off left-arm spinner ⁠Taijul Islam.

• Bangladesh lead the two-match series ​1-0 after thrashing ‌Australia by nine wickets ​in Darwin.
