(Reuters) - An emotional Joe Root said he would like to remain as England test captain despite the hurt of losing the Ashes series 4-0 after another big defeat by Australia in Hobart on Sunday.

The 146-run loss at Bellerive Oval concluded a calamitous series where Root's side were competitive in only a few sessions over the five tests.
