Comeback for Zaqrul as he makes way into mixed open final


PETALING JAYA: It was a day of great comeback for national bowler Megat Zaqrul Haiqal Megat Zairudin as he stayed resilient to book his spot in the final of the mixed open event in the Penang Pesta International Championships.

The 21-year-old Zaqrul found himself in a risky position, finishing 52nd after rolling down 1,216 pins in the first block of six games at the Megamall Bowling Centre in Penang on Tuesday.
