PETALING JAYA: Bowler Ahmad Muaz Fishol has revealed how his failure to make the World Championships squad last year inspired him to the Malaysian Open triumph.

The 26-year-old described missing out on the six-man squad to the world meet in Hong Kong as the low point of his career which forced him to take a complete break from bowling for a month to do some soul-searching.
