Shalin bags singles gold to give Selangor good start

SUBANG JAYA: Veteran Shalin Zulkifli tore the field apart to clinch the women’s singles title as she led Selangor off to a superb start in the 30th Inter-State Bowling Championships.

The 39-year-old took control after the second game and went on to post a six-game total of 1,439 pinfalls at the Sunway Mega Lanes yesterday, beating team-mate and last year’s winner Natasha Roslan by a whopping 99 pins.
