Penang state bowler Anis Shazlin Zulkhisham.

PRAI: Young bowler Anis Shazlin Zulkhisham cried all the way home on Thursday after missing out on the 42nd Penang Pesta International Bowling Championships youth girls’ open title by a mere three pins.

But rather than wallow in self-pity, the 16-year-old Penang state player came back stronger to take a wire-to-wire lead in the women’s open semi-finals at the Mega Bowling Centre here on Friday.
