Low and Noraqilah on a high with Asian Championships nod

PETALING JAYA: National women's doubles pairs - Chong Jie Yu-Vanessa Ng and Low Zi Yu-Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan have achieved a significant milestone in their career after making the cut for the Asian Championships in Ningbo, China from April 7-12.
 
Jie Yu-Vanessa are currently ranked No. 43 in the world, while Zi Yu-Noraqilah sit at No. 248 in the latest rankings.
 
The Asian meet presents a valuable opportunity for both young pairs to test themselves against Asia's top shuttlers.
 
They will be joined by senior pairs Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah and Ong Xin Yee-Carmen Ting in the women's doubles event.
 
In the men's singles, Malaysia will be represented by Leong Jun Hao and Justin Hoh, while K. Letshanaa, Wong Ling Ching and Goh Jin Wei will feature in the women's singles.
 
The men’s doubles squad includes defending champions Aaron Chia–Soh Wooi Yik, along with Man Wei Chong–Tee Kai Wun, Goh Sze Fei–Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, and Wan Arif Wan Junaidi–Yap Roy King.
 
In the mixed doubles, reigning world champions Chen Tang Jie–Toh Ee Wei will lead the charge, alongside Goh Soon Huat–Shevon Lai Jemie, Hoo Pang Ron–Cheng Su Yin, and Wong Tien Ci–Lim Chiew Sien.
