PETALING JAYA: Professional women’s singles shuttler Goh Jin Wei ended her long wait for a title after winning at the Singapore International Challenge on Sunday (March 1).

The 24-year-old defeated Indonesia’s Komang Ayu 21-11, 21-11 in just 30 minutes at the Singapore Badminton Hall.

It was Jin Wei's second triumph over the Indonesian after she won their previous encounter at the 2022 Taiwan Open.

Jin Wei last won a senior title at the 2017 SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur.

Jin Wei did win in 2018 but they were junior titles at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires and the World Junior Championships title in Markham.
