Lee Zii Jia
PETALING JAYA: Professional men’s singles shuttler Lee Zii Jia saw his Indonesian Masters campaign come to an end after he lost to Thailand’s Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul in the second round on Thursday (Jan 22).
Zii Jia, buoyed by a morale boosting win over HS Prannoy on Wednesday (Jan 21), attempted to take the fight to Panitchaphon.
But the world No. 44 proved too solid, as Zii Jia went down 21-15, 17-21, 8-21 after a 57-minute battle.
