BANGKOK: Men’s doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik marched into the SEA Games final but teammates Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun’s run ended in the semi-finals.

Aaron-Wooi Yik were in dominant form when they crushed Indonesia’s Leo Rolly-Bagas Maulana 21-10, 21-12 in just 33 minutes at Thammasat University in Pathum Thani on Saturday (Dec 13).

The world No. 2 pair have an opportunity to win their second gold in the biennial Games when they take on another Indonesian duo Sabar Gutama-Moh Reza in the final on Sunday (Dec 14).

Aaron-Wooi Yik captured the title in the 2019 edition in Manila and will be keen to add to their tally.

Meanwhile, world No. 5 Wei Chong-Kai Wun had to settle for bronze after going down 16-21, 17-21 to Sabar-Moh in 44 minutes.
