Sze Fei-Izzuddin fall in Japan Masters semis

PETALING JAYA: Professional men’s doubles pair Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani saw their Japan Masters campaign end in the semi-finals after losing to home pair Hiroki Midorikawa and Kyohei Yamashita on Saturday (Nov 15).

Although seeded second at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium, Sze Fei-Izzuddin could not contain the momentum of the Japanese duo and went down 12-21, 17-21 in just 38 minutes.

The result further complicates their bid to qualify for the World Tour Finals in Hangzhou this December.
