Jimmy-Pei Jing storm into Korean Masters semis


PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles shuttlers Jimmy Wong-Lai Pei Jing advanced to the semi-finals of the Korean Masters after defeating Thailand’s Phuwanat Horbanluekit-Benyapa Aimsaard 21-10, 21-12 on Friday (Nov 7).

The third seeds needed only 27 minutes to get past their opponents in the quarter-final match held at the Wonkwang University Cultural and Sports Center in Iksan, South Korea.

They will next face the winners of the match between home pair An Yun-seong-Lee Yu-lim and Japan’s sixth seeds Akira Koga-Hina Osawa in the last four.
