Soon Huat-Shevon, Tien Ci-Chiew Sien bow out of Korean Open


 PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's challenge in the Korean Open came to an end after mixed doubles shuttlers Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie and Wong Tien Ci-Lim Chiew Sien bowed out in the quarter-finals.

Soon Huat-Shevon went down 9-21, 21-18, 8-21 to China's world No. 1 Jiang Zhenbang-Wei Yaxin at the Suwon Gymnasium on Friday (Sept 26).

Tien Ci-Chiew Sien also could not find a way past Denmark's Mathias Christiansen-Alexandra Boje, losing 12-21, 8-21.
