Zii Jia and BAM players dress up for success

PETALING JAYA: With less than five days to go before the World Championships in Paris begin on Monday, the excitement is building – and Malaysia’s shuttlers are set to take to the court in brand new attire.

Professional men’s singles shuttler Lee Zii Jia (pic), who is sponsored by Taiwanese sports brand Victor, will sport two new kits – one in purple and white, and another in gold.

World No. 3 men’s doubles pair Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, who are also under Victor’s sponsorship, will don a dark blue and white kit.

Meanwhile, the national squad, sponsored by Japanese brand Yonex, will have women’s doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah donning a white top with olive green side panels, paired with an orange skirt. Malaysia will be represented by 13 shuttlers across all five events at this year’s World Championships.
