PETALING JAYA: Women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah had little trouble securing a spot in the China Open quarter-finals after ousting Japan's Rui Hirokami-Sayaka Hobara on Thursday (July 24).

The world No. 3 pair needed just 38 minutes to wrap up a 21-17, 21-13 win in the second-round match held at the Changzhou Olympic Sports Centre.
