PETALING JAYA: Hendrawan will not be reunited with professional shuttler Lee Zii Jia.

Instead, the former world champion Hendrawan has decided to join PB Djarum as a coach.

"I've decided where to go...I will partner with PB Djarum to help develop badminton in Indonesia," said Hendrawan in his IG post on Monday (Dec 9).

Hendrawan's contract as the men's singles coach with the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) was not extended. It opened up speculation that he may coach his former player Zii Jia, who is with a professional club.

Zii Jia announced recently that he will part ways with coach Wong Tat Meng and the World Tour Finals in Hangzhou, China, will be their last stint together.
