IPOH: Malaysia captured their first win at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup after defeating Canada 6-2 today (May 5).

Canada delivered the first blow in the 12th minute through Devohn Noronha-Teixeira, but Malaysian veteran Fitri Saari was quick to respond with an equaliser in the following minute at the Azlan Shah Stadium here.
