PETALING JAYA: Men's doubles shuttlers Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani continued their dream run in the Asian Championships by stunning teammates Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik to reach the final.

World No. 19 Sze Fei-Izzuddin played brilliantly to upstage world No. 5 Aaron-Wooi Yik 21-14, 21-18 in the last four in Ningbo, China on Saturday (April 13).

It was only the former's second win over the latter in their past eight meetings in international competitions.

Sze Fei-Izzuddin also exacted sweet revenge after losing to Aaron-Wooi Yik in the same stage in the 2022 edition.

It was another memorable victory for Sze Fei-Izzuddin after they toppled South Korea's reigning world champions Kang Min-hyuk-Seo Seung-jae and Taiwan's Olympic gold medallists Lee Yang-Wang Chi-lin in the first round and last eight respectively.

Standing in their way to the title on Sunday (April 14) will be either home favourites and world No. 3 Liang Weikeng-Wang Chang or Taiwan's world No. 14 Lee Jhe-huei-Yang Po-hsuan.
