PETALING JAYA: Men's singles shuttler Lee Zii Jia continued his good showing in the All-England by reaching the quarter-finals.

Zii Jia blew away Singapore's 2021 world champion Loh Kean Yew 21-15, 21-12 in the second round at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham on Thursday (March 14).

The world No.10 controlled the match from start to finish to come away with the victory in just 33 minutes.

Zii Jia will next take on either Denmark's world No. 3 Anders Antonsen or India's 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medallist Lakshya Sen for a place in the last four.

Mixed doubles pairs Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei and Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing though suffered defeats in their respective second round matches.

Tang Jie-Ee Wei went down fighting 21-17, 19-21, 16-21 to Dutch pair Robin Tabeling-Selena Piek while Kian Meng-Pei Jing fell 17-21, 11-21 to Hong Kong's Tang Chun Man-Tse Ying Suet.
