KUALA LUMPUR: Back at the Axiata Arena to defend their title, Indonesian men’s doubles duo Fajar Alfian-Muhammad Rian Ardianto are hoping for another smooth journey to the final.

After taking down Canada’s Adam Dong-Nyl Yakura 21-16, 21-13 yesterday in the opening round of the Malaysian Open, the defending champions said the court conditions have improved since their last visit during the 2023 Malaysian Masters.
