Axelsen bounces back quickly from home hiccup to rule French Open

PETALING JAYA: Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen announced his quick return to form in style after capturing the French Open title in Paris yesterday.

The reigning world and Olympic champion proved that his shock exit in the quarter-finals of his home Open last week was just a blip when he crushed compatriot Rasmus Gemke (pic) 21-14, 21-15 in the final.
