GENTING HIGHLANDS: Thailand have set the bar high when it comes to producing world class women’s singles shuttlers and Malaysia could perhaps learn a thing or two from their northern neighbours.

While Thailand boast two players in the top 10 of the world rankings – former world champion Ratchanok Intanon (No. 7), Pornpawee Chochuwong (No. 8) and with Busanan Ongbamrungphan not far behind at No. 12, Malaysia have been left far behind.
