PETALING JAYA: Doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have received a timely boost as they scramble to make a last-ditch effort to qualify for the World Tour Finals in Bali.

The world No. 8 pair have been named as one of the nominees for the Badminton World Federation (BWF)’s most improved player of the year award, which will be announced on the eve of the Finals from Dec 1-5.
