PETALING JAYA: Malaysia can have two mixed doubles pairs in the World Tour Finals if Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying and Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing can remain consistent in the next few tournaments.

The independent shuttlers Peng Soon-Liu Ying went down 10-21, 17-21 to Yuta Watanabe-Arisa Higashino of Japan in the quarter-finals of the French Open in Paris on Friday but the Malaysians are likely to stay in the top eight of the qualification ranking for the Finals.
