Hendrawan surprised by champ’s outstanding display


PETALING JAYA: A relieved and proud men’s singles head coach Hendrawan admitted that he was blown away by Lee Zii Jia’s All-England exploits.

It’s not that the 48-year-old Indonesian did not have faith in his player but the manner in which Zii Jia rose from the ashes to win a major title in just a matter of weeks has left him amazed.
