Junior world No. 3 is itching for real play time on court

Boys' singles champion Jacky Kok Jing Hong (centre) posed for a photograph with runner-up Alvi Wijaya Chairullah and compatriot Justin Hoh, who lost in the semi-finals, after the prize presentation of the German Junior Open on Sunday

PETALING JAYA: In his last outing, top boys’ singles shuttler Jacky Kok Jing Hong (pic) won the German Junior Open title. That was in early March and it has been a painful lack of action since.

The 18-year-old just can’t wait to get his competitive juices flowing again when he makes his first competitive comeback at the National Under-21 Championships at the Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara from Oct 27-31.
