PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian pair huffed and puffed but Indonesian hotshots Marcus Fernaldi Gideon-Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo stayed cool under immense pressure to kill off Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik’s hopes of making their first final appearance of the year at the Indonesian Masters.
The current world No. 1 pairing underlined their intention to claim the Tokyo Olympics gold medal with a tenacious performance to overcome Aaron-Wooi Yik 21-19,21-19 in the semi-final yesterday.
