Reality check for Jin Wei as China dash Malaysia’s mixed team title hopes


PETALING JAYA: Youth Olympic Games (YOG) gold medallist Goh Jin Wei was brought back down to earth as Malaysia’s hopes of winning the mixed team title at the World Junior Championships were again halted by China.

Hopes were high on the 18-year-old to put Malaysia back on track after trailing 1-2 in their quarter-final clash against the defending champions in Markham, Canada, yesterday.
