WORLD champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark and a host of badminton players at the Thomas-Uber Cup Finals here in Bangkok were happy when the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) bid to change the scoring format fell through.
Axelsen was against bringing in the 11x5 system and throwing out the old 21x3 format, vehemently saying the former would make badminton drab and dull.
