V Shem-Wee Kiong reach German Open semis


PETALING JAYA: Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong and Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie kept the Malaysian flag flying at the German Open by reaching the semi-finals.

The national No. 1 men's doubles shuttlers V Shem-Wee Kiong defeated Mads Conrad-Petersen-Mads Pieler Kolding 21-19 in the first game before the Danes retired after trailing 7-13 in the second in Mulheim on Friday (March 9).
