KUALA LUMPUR: National women’s singles coach Datuk Tey Seu Bock is pleased with his charges’ fine start to the year.

This week’s Perodua Malaysian Masters saw world No. 43 Goh Jin Wei and world No. 49 Lee Ying Ying both making the last eight before losing to Thailand’s Ratchanok Intanon and Spain’s Carolina Marin respectively.
