KUALA LUMPUR: Lee Chong Wei’s first-round loss at the World Badminton Championships has elicited lots of reactions on the social media – with many saying that it was time for him to retire.

Badminton Association of Malay­sia (BAM) president Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria (pic), however, hopes that Chong Wei will take his time and clear his head before making a decision following the 19-21, 24-22, 17-21 defeat to Brice Leverdez of France on Tuesday.
