Khe Wei-Vivian overcome strong Chinese pair at ABC second round


PETALING JAYA: It has been ages since national women’s doubles pair Woon Khe Wei-Vivian Hoo last defeated a strong pair from China.

So it came as a huge relief when they scored a sensational 16-21, 21-14, 21-16 upset win over world No. 26 and Malaysian Open runners-up Huang Yaqiong-Tang Jinhua at the Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) in Wuhan, China, yesterday.
