No Chong Wei for Taiwan Open

PETALING JAYA: As expected, the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) have withdrawn world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei from the Taiwan Open, which will be held from June 28-July 3.

The 33-year-old Chong Wei suffered a muscle injury in his left leg on the way to winning the Indonesian Open earlier this month. He then withdrew from the Australian Open two weeks ago.
